Garth Lee

For as long as he can remember, Garth P. Lee has been involved in music and woodworking and is passionate about the creative process of making instruments from the violin family.

After graduating with distinction and highest honours from the Newark School of Violin Making in England, Garth returned home to Canada and established his workshop in Winnipeg, MB. Since then, he has been making instruments for musicians from Concert Masters and Principles to aspiring students for the last 14 years.

Creating an instrument specifically for each musician, from wood selection to final tone adjustment, is always a privilege.

When he is not in his studio Garth can be found using his wood fired brick oven or going on canoe trips with his wife Leanne, kids Nadia & Matthew, and dog Blue.
