Zacharie Rodrigue found a passion in manual work by working alongside his parents on the family farm. It is love of music and craftsmanship that led him to pursue his studies at the École Nationale de Lutherie de Quebec where he graduated in 2014. He enriched his training as a bow maker alongside makers such as Richard Compartino, Éric Gagné & André Lavoye.
He worked at Wilder & Davis Luthiers (2015-2018) as luthier under the tutelage of Charles Arsenault where he learned about repair and restoration of the instruments of the quartet family.
Zacharie is now working on the creation of contemporary bows and instruments in his atelier, based in Montréal.
